Bankstown is set to come alive with colour, rhythm, and island spirit as The Pasifika Indigenous Community proudly presents The Pacific Rising — a spectacular night of music, dance, art, fashion, storytelling, and togetherness.

Taking place on Saturday, 6 September from 6:00 pm to midnight at Bankstown Sports Club, this event promises an unforgettable celebration of Pasifika culture. For just $40 (including light refreshments), guests will be treated to vibrant performances from the renowned Spirit of the Islands Dance Company, whose energy and grace capture the heart of the Pacific.

The night will also showcase the talents of three local Pasifika fashion designers, offering a rare opportunity to experience traditional and contemporary island-inspired styles on the runway. From captivating dances to dazzling garments, every moment will honour heritage while embracing modern creativity.
