Wentworthville’s Redgum Function Centre came alive on Saturday, 18 October 2025, as nearly 200 guests gathered for Gata Rahe Mera Dil, a spectacular musical fundraiser presented by Yimiri. The event, held in celebration of Diwali, was dedicated to promoting wellness in regional schools and Indigenous communities—most notably supporting a school in Lismore that continues to recover from the devastating floods.

The evening overflowed with soulful melodies, cultural warmth, and an inspiring sense of purpose. Sydney’s top Bollywood band Saaz Inc. lit up the stage alongside talented performers Kedar, Prachi Pandey, Ekta Dhar, Sirisha Telugu, Vikas Kolar, and Daljit Singh, with Amber Tandon serving as the charismatic event emcee. Each performance captured the essence of the evening’s theme — “Where Melodies Meet Memories” — blending nostalgia with heartfelt artistry.

Behind this grand success stood the vision and dedication of organisers Ash and Nim Gholkar, whose tireless efforts ensured the event’s seamless flow and meaningful impact. Their passion for uniting music and mindfulness to uplift regional and Indigenous communities was evident in every detail of the evening.

Dr. Charbel Tadros and his wife Christine attended the event on behalf of Oz Arab Media and AIM Association, underscoring the importance of such events in Australia’s multicultural landscape.

With over 200 attendees contributing to a noble cause, Gata Rahe Mera Dil not only raised essential funds but also reinforced Yimiri’s mission of “Harnessing Ancient Wisdom for a Better Today.” It was an unforgettable night of unity, compassion, and rhythm — a testament to how music can heal, inspire, and bring communities together.
