A record 335,000 flocked to Parramatta Lanes, the City’s flagship festival celebrating eats, beats and art over four massive nights, making it Parramatta’s biggest festival ever.
The free street festival saw more than 200 performers, 80 food stalls and 10 stages across 21 sites as the CBD streets, laneways and carparks came alive with giant artwork, interactive activities, live music and the aromas of delicious street food.

Highlights included the City’s first Boodle Fight, aerial performers suspended from sandstone pillars in Parramatta Square, a full takeover of Eat Street Car Park with food, music and art experiences on every level, viral foodie creations and Beatdisc Lane, a new festival site celebrating 30 years of Beatdisc Records and its local legends.
City of Parramatta Lord Mayor Cr Martin Zaiter said the signature festival has all the hallmarks of a world-class event.

“Parramatta continues to attract talent from all over the world – from New York TikTok sensation Ocky Way and musicians hailing from the UK, USA, China and New Zealand at Lanes to Diljit Dosanjh’s concert – we’re making our City the home of arts, entertainment and culture,” Cr Zaiter said.
“This was our biggest ever Lanes, with something for everyone to discover and enjoy.
“Parramatta Lanes is growing every year and we’re proud to showcase the best of Western Sydney and beyond, celebrating our diversity and rich culture with all the wonderful food and performances.”

The festival celebrated the vibrant cultural diversity of Western Sydney with themed sites and programming including a Latin quarter, First Nations hip hop, an Africultures night, Korean KPOP performances, a Mediterranean Terraza Aperol bar, Middle Eastern Lane, a colourful Diwali installation and Mexican Lucha Libre wrestling.
trading from 10pm to 2am, Wednesday 22 – Sunday 26 October.
