Arabic version: الأميرة يوجيني تعلن عن توقعها بطفل ثالث
Buckingham Palace has announced that Princess Eugenie and her husband, Jack Brooksbank, are expecting their third child together. According to BBC News, the couple’s two children, August, aged five, and Ernest, aged two, are “also very excited to have another sibling join the family.”
The Palace shared that His Majesty The King has been informed of the news and is delighted. The new baby is expected to arrive this summer, and Princess Eugenie has already shared the announcement on her Instagram account, posting a picture of her sons holding a baby scan with the caption, “Baby Brooksbank due 2026!”.
The upcoming addition to the family will be 15th in line to the throne, moving ahead of their great-uncle, the Duke of Edinburgh, Prince Edward. It has been noted that the new arrival will not hold the title of HRH.
Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank, who married in October 2018, welcomed their first child, August, in February 2021, followed by Ernest in May 2023. The new baby will be the fifth grandchild for Princess Eugenie’s father, Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor.
