The Liverpool business community came together for an evening of celebration, recognition and networking at the Liverpool Chamber of Commerce Gala Dinner, held on Thursday, 23 July 2026, at Liverpool Catholic Club.

Hosted in Ballroom 1, the event welcomed business owners, community leaders, government representatives, Chamber members and sponsors for a program highlighting the continued growth and economic potential of Liverpool and the wider South-West Sydney region.

The evening was hosted by MC Sheila, with Liverpool Chamber President Michael Azzi leading the formal proceedings.

Guests were welcomed with networking opportunities, media photographs and interviews before entering the ballroom, where live music by Sarah Ang created a relaxed atmosphere during arrivals and the entrée service.

In his opening address, Mr Azzi reflected on the state of business in Liverpool, the major investments and opportunities emerging across the region, and the importance of local businesses supporting one another.

He also outlined the Chamber’s role in advocacy, business connection and strengthening the local economy. Mr Azzi acknowledged the Chamber’s growing membership, successful events and business support initiatives, while encouraging guests to continue developing meaningful professional relationships and supporting the businesses operating within their community.

The evening featured addresses from several prominent political and civic representatives, including Nathan Hagarty, representing NSW Premier Chris Minns; NSW Opposition Leader Kellie Sloane; and Liverpool Mayor Ned Mannoun.

Their participation reflected the importance of ongoing collaboration between government, local organisations and the business sector.

A highlight of the evening was the Business Awards Presentation, recognising the individuals, organisations and supporters contributing to the strength and development of the Liverpool business community.

The presentation celebrated leadership, commitment and service while shining a light on the people helping businesses across the region prosper.

Following the formal program, guests were invited to continue networking, connect with fellow business and community leaders, and enjoy music and dancing.

The Liverpool Chamber Gala Dinner reinforced the Chamber’s commitment to supporting local enterprise, encouraging collaboration and celebrating the people driving Liverpool’s growth.

More than a formal celebration, the evening served as a reminder that strong local economies are built through relationships, shared opportunities and a united business community.
