According to ABC News, Australia’s Rhiannan Iffland has become the greatest cliff diver of all time in terms of titles after winning the penultimate World Series event of the season in Mostar, southern Bosnia and Herzegovina. The 34-year-old from Newcastle secured her 10th consecutive World Series title and the 48th victory of her career.

Iffland scored 363.20 points from the 21-metre platform at Mostar’s historic bridge, finishing ahead of Canada’s Molly Carlson on 361.60 and fellow Australian Xantheia Pennisi on 345.80. An estimated 23,000 fans attended across the three days of competition as Iffland again won the King Kahekili Trophy.

She entered the final round only 1.6 points ahead of Carlson in sweltering conditions, before sealing the win with an inward three somersaults half twist tuck dive into the Neretva River. The result moved Iffland to 77 points after four of five tour stops, an unassailable 27 points clear of Carlson. Pennisi, on 35 points, is fifth overall.

Pennisi earned her 10th career podium with a personal-best total score. Stella Forsyth, the third Australian in the 12-woman field, finished 10th with 276.15 points. Iffland’s win was her 48th in 59 stops and moved her ahead of England’s Gary Hunt on the all-time wins list. It was also the third time she has clinched the title with one stop remaining.

Romania’s Constantin Popovici won the men’s event, ahead of Britain’s Aidan Heslop and American James Lichtenstein. Heslop leads the standings on 68 points, followed by Lichtenstein on 57 and Popovici on 55. Divers will take a two-month break before the final event of the 2026 calendar in Polignano a Mare, Italy, from September 27.
