According to The Guardian, Enrico Pucci was convicted last week of 30 domestic violence-related charges against his former partner, Stacey*, including using a Tesla car app to harass her. Judge Peter Feather sentenced Pucci to two years and three months in prison, with a non-parole period of 15 months, in Parramatta local court in western Sydney.

Police documents tendered in court said Stacey heard her Tesla alarm sound three times overnight almost a year ago. The next morning, she found the vehicle undamaged but said its electronic dashboard had been reset and a parental-control profile added. The profile, which she could not access, could control the car’s speed, climate settings, lock and curfew hours.

Between 6 and 12 November 2025, Pucci remotely switched the car’s temperature between extremely cold and extremely hot, according to the documents. They said he also used Valet Mode, reducing the car’s speed to 40km/h and creating safety issues for Stacey while driving. Pucci made seven attempts to disconnect the vehicle from its charging port through the Tesla app, the documents said.

Feather said Pucci had used multiple methods to dominate Stacey during four years of abusive behaviour. The judge said the conduct was coercive and controlling, designed to entrench power and compliance. Court documents said Stacey had bought the Tesla while the pair were together and agreed to register it in Pucci’s name after he offered to help with the technology.

Pucci pleaded guilty in the week before a hearing scheduled in August. He is appealing his sentence and is due to return to court in late October. Stacey’s name was changed for privacy reasons.
