New decisions from the Lebanese Football Association

The Lebanese Football Association adopted a set of organizational decisions as the 2026–2027 season approaches, during an executive committee meeting held at the association’s headquarters and chaired by the first vice president.

The decisions included approving the first-leg fixture schedules for both the First and Second Division leagues. The association also annulled the effects of previous cards and will issue new administrative cards to clubs under specific regulations.

On the fan side, the association set match ticket prices at $100 for the main stand, $50 for the first-tier stand, and $10 for the regular stand. Season tickets were set at $3,000 for all matches, $2,000 for club-only matches in the main stand, and $200 for club-only matches in the regular stand.

Season tickets will be sold exclusively at the association’s headquarters, while other tickets will be available online via the LFA Ticketing website or the LFA Tickets app. Clubs in the First and Second Divisions were invited to coordination meetings to discuss fan entry procedures and stadium organization.

The association also approved launching a licensing system for football academies starting in the 2026–2027 season and will organize workshops, in cooperation with the international federation, to analyze the state of amateur football. In addition, it adopted the regulations for referees nominated to the 2027 international list and appointed the federation’s technical director to represent Lebanese football at Asian Football Confederation courses and conferences.
