Their mission is to provide tailored and individualized support to people with disabilities, facilitating access to the tools necessary for achieving their life goals. Services offered include in-home support, day programs, NDIS support coordination, allied health services, and specialized transport, among others.

The South West Sydney Women’s Domestic Violence Court Advocacy Service provides crucial support to women and children experiencing domestic violence. They offer advocacy, information, and guidance through the court system to secure Apprehended Violence Orders and ensure safety and justice for victims. The service includes liaising with police, solicitors, and court staff, providing a safe room at court, and referring clients to additional necessary services.

IWAA
IWAA is an organization dedicated to supporting and empowering multicultural communities, focusing on services such as aged care, disability support, and community development. They offer a wide range of services including in-home and respite aged care, and specialize in providing culturally sensitive care, supporting clients in over 30 languages across various Australian locations. Additionally, they conduct community engagement events and educational workshops to promote well-being and cultural understanding.
Entrepreneurs
Jad Al Masri
Jad Al-Masri is a violinist, composer, creative director, podcast host, and lawyer. As a violinist and composer, he collaborates with his father to create captivating World and Middle Eastern instrumental music, having recently performed their own compositions live in concert in 2023. Beyond the stage, Jad is also the founder of Mirage Media, a creative agency. He utilises his vision to optimise the professional image and social media presence of businesses and artists through design, film, and video. Leveraging his creative experience, Jad is also a lawyer and soon-to-be solicitor specialising in intellectual property and media law. Capping his diverse achievements, however, Jad also runs ‘The Multifaceted Perspective’ – a podcast, YouTube channel and newsletter dedicated to sharing his unique background, and interests in psychology, philosophy, productivity, and personal development. This combination of artistic creativity, legal acumen, and a passion for inspiring others has cemented Jad’s place as a finalist for the 2024 AIM Business Award.

Vishal Sonule
Vishal Sonule is the founder and principal consultant at Connektivity, a company focused on assisting businesses with National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) registration and compliance. Established in 2018, Connektivity aims to empower small family-owned businesses and individuals by easing the NDIS registration process and providing ongoing support through audit and compliance services, training, and a client management system.
Antoinette Khalil
Antoinette Khalil is the principal solicitor and founder of Khalil Lawyers, specializing in family law with over a decade of experience in legal practice. She has also attained Specialist Accreditation in Family Law and is actively involved in community initiatives, serving as the Chair of the Women’s Committee for the Canterbury Bankstown Chamber of Commerce.
