The Australian Jordanian Community Association (AJCA) held a remarkable Ramadan Iftar Dinner on Thursday, 20th March 2025, bringing together prominent figures, community leaders, and distinguished guests to celebrate the spirit of Ramadan. The event, hosted at Yagoona Community Centre, was an evening of unity, cultural appreciation, and heartfelt discussions on strengthening ties between Australia and Jordan.

Among the notable guests of honour was His Excellency Mr. Janti Kalajoqa, Jordanian Ambassador to Australia, who expressed his gratitude for the strong relationship between the Jordanian community and the wider Australian society. The Hon. Jason Clare MP, Minister for Education and Federal Member for Blaxland, also attended the event, as well as the Hon Julia Finn and Shaoquett Moslemane, reinforcing the Australian government’s commitment to multiculturalism and support for diverse communities.

The evening featured inspiring speeches, warm hospitality, and a shared meal that brought together individuals from various backgrounds in the true essence of Ramadan. The gathering underscored the importance of fostering deeper connections within the community and across cultural boundaries.
