Business Leaders Converge to Celebrate Small Business Month at the Canterbury Bankstown Chamber of Commerce

Yesterday evening, Canterbury Leagues Club’s Paragon Showroom was a bustling hub of ideas and strategies as industry leaders from various sectors gathered to discuss the dynamic landscape of online branding and supply chain management. The seminar, held from 6:00 PM to 8:30 PM by the Canterbury Bankstown Chamber of Commerce (CBCC) in celebration of Small Business Month, delved into a variety of critical business topics, ranging from brand identity and online strategies to resilience in changing consumer preferences and the intricacies of team collaboration.

The attendees, consisting of budding entrepreneurs, business owners, and professionals, were presented with practical knowledge and tried-and-tested strategies on how to effectively establish and amplify their online brand presence. The event also emphasized the importance of aligning with evolving consumer preferences, especially in the face of ever-shifting international supply chains.

One of the key takeaways from the seminar was the significance of harnessing online platforms not just as marketing tools, but as powerful funnels for tangible sales opportunities. Stephanie De Francesco, Group Product Lead from Canva, shed light on the significance of online branding and managing teams in today’s digital age.
Jo Johnston, the mind behind Collapor8, emphasized the power of collaboration and partnerships in scaling businesses.
Dr. W. Kathy Tannous of Western Sydney University provided insights into changing consumer preferences and market research as well as internship opportunities for WSU students.
Matt Craft, Detective Superintendent of the Cybercrime Unit in the NSW Police Force, highlighted the importance of cybersecurity in online ventures.
Mr. Joseph Rizk AM, CEO and Managing Director of Arab Bank Australia, spoke about financial strategies and resilience in challenging times as well as the importance of simplicity in product packaging.
The evening was seamlessly orchestrated by the MC, Mr. Martin Roger, CEO of Realise Business, who ensured that the discourse remained engaging and enlightening.
