On the morning of Sunday, April 5, Mrs. Reem Zahraan, the Consul General of Egypt in Sydney, participated in the celebration held at the Evangelical Church in the Merland area of western Sydney. The event was attended by Pastor Nasif Haroun, the church’s pastor, who led the church choir during the festivities with a number of spiritual hymns dedicated to Easter.

Pastor Nasif welcomed Mrs. Reem Zahraan with a speech, expressing gratitude for her presence and participation in the celebration. He acknowledged her efforts in serving the Egyptian community in Sydney and offered her congratulations on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr. In her remarks to the attendees, Ambassador Reem extended her own Eid greetings and shared her joy in celebrating with Christians during their festivities. She reminisced about her experience as a student at a convent school in Cairo, where she cherished participating in their joyful occasions.
