Egypt’s Ministry of Interior has debunked rumors claiming that six Israeli tourists were killed in North Sinai.

The Interior Ministry clarified in a statement: “A security source denied the validity of what was covered by one of the non-Egyptian channels, citing a foreign newspaper, regarding the shooting event in Sinai.”

“The security situation in Sinai is completely stable,” it assured.
