Australia is preparing to welcome one of the Arab world’s most influential and beloved cultural icons, with Lebanese superstar Nancy Ajram set to return to Australian stages for the first time in more than a decade.

Fresh off a run of packed shows across Indonesia – where thousands of fans filled arenas, singing her lyrics word for word – Ajram arrives with extraordinary global momentum. With more than 40 million Instagram followers, countless chart-topping hits and a legacy spanning over twenty years, she remains one of the most powerful and recognisable figures in modern Arabic music.

Ajram will perform in Melbourne on 29 May 2026, followed by a Sydney show 30May, marking a landmark moment for Lebanese, Arab and Middle Eastern communities across Australia. Her previous visits drew overwhelming crowds and her absence from local stages has only intensified anticipation for her return.

Born and raised in Achrafieh, Beirut, Ajram has become a defining voice of contemporary Arab pop – a symbol of Lebanese pride, artistic excellence and cultural connection. Her music has served as the soundtrack to family celebrations, weddings and milestones across generations, resonating deeply with diaspora communities worldwide, including the hundreds of thousands of Lebanese and Arab Australians who have grown up with her songs.

“We are incredibly proud to bring Nancy Ajram to Australian stages. This marks the start of something big for UP NXT, and we couldn’t imagine kicking it off with anyone other than Nancy.”
 – Michael Lakkis, Founder, UP NXT

Her 2026 appearance promises to be one of the year’s major cultural events, offering fans the chance to experience a voice and legacy that continue to shape the sound of the Middle East today.
