A murder investigation is under way after a security guard died in a stabbing at Centre:MK shopping centre in Milton Keynes. Thames Valley Police were called to the incident on Saturday at about 17:10 GMT. Despite life-saving efforts, a 52-year-old man sadly died at the scene.
Authorities have arrested a 50-year-old man from Towcester on suspicion of murder. The victim had not been formally identified, but the coroner had been informed of the death. The shopping centre remained closed on Sunday as police maintained a “scenewatch” for ongoing investigations.
Ch Supt Emma Baillie, local commander for Milton Keynes, stated that the investigation is in its early stages but confirmed that no further suspects are being sought at this time.
