Uzbek Dialogue and Sustainable Development: Sign a Memorandum of Understanding for Research and Academic Cooperation

In line with the Dialogue Center’s keen interest in the affairs of Central Asia, which has made it one of the pioneering institutions dedicated to in-depth research on the countries of this region, a delegation from the Sustainable Development Center of Uzbekistan was welcomed during their visit to Cairo.

During this visit, both parties signed a memorandum of understanding aimed at enhancing collaborative efforts between the two centers. This agreement focuses on conducting joint research and studies of mutual interest, as well as organizing various events such as conferences, seminars, workshops, and discussion forums to address a range of issues pertinent to both parties’ domains of expertise and interest.

It is noteworthy that Dr. Mohamed Abdel-Monem, Vice Chairman of the Board of Trustees and President of the Global Forum on Tourism and Environment, signed the memorandum on behalf of the Dialogue Center, while Dr. Odbek Khalbekov, Vice President of the Sustainable Development Center of Uzbekistan, represented his organization.
