Jacky Amazing Feng, 32, a Sydney man, has been denied bail after being charged with the alleged murders of his parents and brother. Feng is also facing charges for the attempted murder of another brother. According to ABC News, the case has been adjourned to July 15 to allow for a psychiatric assessment while Feng remains in custody.

Feng appeared via video link in Campbelltown Local Court on Monday, following the tragic events that unfolded on Sunday morning. Emergency services were called to a home on Juliet Close in Rosemeadow after reports of an assault. Upon arrival, they discovered the bodies of Feng’s 65-year-old mother and 25-year-old brother, while his 64-year-old father succumbed to serious blunt force injuries later at the hospital.

The police reported that Feng was arrested at the crime scene shortly after arriving in a silver car. He faces three counts of murder (DV) and one count of attempted murder (DV). Superintendent Grant Healey described the scene as “very bloody” and indicated that multiple weapons may have been used in the incident.

In response to the incident, NSW Police Minister Yasmin Catley expressed her condolences to the victims’ family and emphasized the need for communities to address domestic violence issues. She noted the increasing number of domestic violence-related deaths in the state and urged individuals to speak out if they suspect domestic abuse.

Family friend Jonathan Dalangin expressed shock at the news, describing the Feng family as a quiet yet good family. He recalled his high school days with Jacky Feng, stating that he was an accomplished student. Feng will remain in custody until his next court appearance in July, following his mental health assessment.
