The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has reported an active engagement of its air defenses against missile and drone strikes originating from Iran. The UAE Ministry of Defense announced on Monday afternoon that it was intercepting ballistic missiles, cruise missiles, and drones across the country.
In a related incident, the emirate of Fujairah experienced a fire at an oil facility, which was triggered by an Iranian drone. Civil defense teams were promptly deployed to manage the situation, as stated by the Fujairah Media office. Fortunately, there were no immediate reports of casualties from the incident.
According to Al Jazeera, there has been no immediate response from Iran regarding these developments. The situation remains fluid as the UAE continues to monitor and respond to the threats posed by these aerial assaults.
