Arabic version: إيران تهدد بالحرب غير التقليدية ردًا على الهجمات المستقبلية
Iran’s military has issued a stark warning regarding its response to any future attacks. Army spokesman Mohammad Akraminia stated that if the ‘enemy’ were to strike again, they would face ‘surprising’ new methods of warfare and arenas of retaliation.
In his remarks, Akraminia also indicated that countries imposing sanctions on Iran would experience problems crossing the Strait of Hormuz, a critical waterway for global oil transportation. This statement underscores Iran’s strategic leverage in the region, particularly concerning international shipping routes.
The comments come as tensions persist in the region, particularly between Iran and nations involved in sanctions against it. The Iranian military’s emphasis on innovative warfare tactics suggests a shift in their strategic approach should hostilities escalate.
According to Al Jazeera, the Iranian military is prepared to adapt its strategies in response to perceived threats, signaling a readiness to confront adversaries with unexpected tactics.
