The Philadelphia Eagles will play in London as part of the NFL’s international games next season. The league will host a record nine regular-season games overseas, including three in the UK, with Australia and France joining as hosts for the first time.
According to BBC News, the London series will kick off on 4 October, featuring the Washington Commanders hosting the Indianapolis Colts at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. The following two Sundays will see the Jacksonville Jaguars hosting the Philadelphia Eagles at Tottenham and the Houston Texans at Wembley Stadium.
The first international game of the season will occur on 10 September in Melbourne, Australia, where the Los Angeles Rams will face the San Francisco 49ers at the Melbourne Cricket Ground. Additionally, the NFL will return to Mexico City for a game between the 49ers and the Minnesota Vikings, while the Baltimore Ravens will meet the Dallas Cowboys in Rio de Janeiro, marking a significant expansion of the league’s global outreach.
Continental Europe will also see three games, starting with the New Orleans Saints against the Pittsburgh Steelers in Paris at the Stade de France. The Cincinnati Bengals will then take on the Atlanta Falcons in Madrid, followed by the New England Patriots facing the Detroit Lions in Munich. The international schedule is set to enhance the NFL’s presence across various countries, showcasing American football to a broader audience.
