Under the title “The Road to the Future,” an event was organized by the New Yali Institute, led by the young scientist Dr. Tawfiq Al-Falah, in collaboration with the International Federation of Arab Leaders and Creatives, headed by Dr. Ashraf Al-Razqi. This remarkable evening brought together a distinguished group of academic, media, cultural, and creative leaders from Egypt, Yemen, Saudi Arabia, and Sudan. The event was marked by a strong presence of political figures, executives, writers, thinkers, university professors, media professionals, and artists from these four nations, commencing with the national anthem of each country.
The esteemed Dr. Ashraf Al-Razqi, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the International Forum for Arab Leaders and Creatives, opened the platform with a poignant discussion about the painful realities facing the Arab world and the extent of division and fragmentation within the Arab nation. Al-Razqi addressed the peril of the “Golden Billion” theory promoted by Zionism and Western imperialism, which seeks to spread epidemics, conflicts, and wars, particularly among Southern populations, resulting in the destruction of millions worldwide.
He urged Arab youth to revive the beautiful, flourishing image of Arabs and Muslims during the era of Islamic civilization, a time when they were leaders and torchbearers of enlightenment for the entire world. He called for the reinvention of ideals that could elevate the present from its current setbacks.
Dr. Tawfiq Al-Falah, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the New Yali Institute, serves as an inspiring model for Arab youth. He is a young Yemeni national who possesses remarkable scientific inventions that could significantly impact the economy, technology, society, and health if implemented in reality.
Tawfiq Al-Falah, a distinguished Arab youth with a Ph.D. in media from Al-Azhar University, is an expert in artificial intelligence and cybersecurity. He harbors grand dreams of fostering communication, exchanging experiences, and enhancing community participation among Arab youth. He is the driving force behind many community initiatives for young Arabs, viewing them as an optimal means to achieve Arab youth integration in scientific, research, and educational fields. This approach is an excellent pathway for a distinctive Arab economic and intellectual leap across all levels.
The esteemed Professor Dr. Mamdouh Al-Dosari, a sociology professor and head of the Supreme Advisory Committee at the New Yali Institute, presented a comprehensive Arab strategy for belonging, upbringing, and uplifting Arab youth, students, and researchers. He emphasized the theory of “Know Yourself” and the importance of setting clear goals. Dr. Al-Dosari shared a working paper on the significance of future planning and the necessity to keep pace with rapid technological transformations and changes in the world. He asserted that building future generations no longer relies solely on traditional education but also on skill development, innovation, and adaptability to the rapidly changing world.
Dr. Al-Dosari provided a prescription for parents on how to raise and educate the emerging generation through nurturing, direct communication, and protection from the risks of digital screens, encouraging a return to familial warmth instead of isolation and alienation. His advice serves as a vital lifeline for Arab families.
Mr. Omar Babadin, president of the Yemeni community in Cairo, praised the remarkable efforts of community members in Cairo, engaging in various service and production projects across Egypt. He highly valued the good cooperation between institutions in Egypt in caring for and supporting community members, reflecting the true essence of hospitality. He wished the New Yali team and institution success and well-being for all youth in the Arab world.
Lieutenant General Rifaat Al-Durghami, former Assistant Minister of Interior, called on Arab nations to unite, noting that over 99% of what connects them outweighs any differences. He pointed out that Europeans had achieved unity despite their wars and conflicts, while Arabs share a common language, faith, and intertwined geography.
Journalist Nofal Al-Baradaei, media advisor to New Yali, emphasized that the real bet lies in the collective Arab consciousness, which is linked to the issue of awareness. He stressed the urgent need for a significant Arab coalition, as the world respects only the powerful, with no room for differences and divisions amidst the alarming state of Arab weakness. He warned of a new Sykes-Picot scenario unfolding in 2026, 110 years after the first division, urging vigilance regarding the covert plans against the Arab nation.
Al-Baradaei added that Russian Foreign Minister Lavrov was the first to highlight the Western Zionist concept of the “Golden Billion” in 2022. He pointed out that the West aimed to achieve a strategic defeat for Russia in the Ukraine war. Yet, after nearly four years of conflict, Russia has accomplished all its objectives in Crimea, Zaporizhia, Kherson, Donetsk, and Luhansk, even expanding into Ukraine’s Sumy and Kharkiv regions to establish a buffer zone. He emphasized the importance of strength and cooperation among major powers, urging the Arab world to accelerate youth integration, knowledge-sharing, and economic collaboration to progress and secure a place for Arabs under the sun.
