Lebanon’s Health Minister Nassereddine engaged in discussions with the Director-General of the World Health Organization (WHO), Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus. The meeting focused on the current challenges facing Lebanon’s health sector, a topic of significant importance given the country’s ongoing economic and social crises.

During the meeting, Nassereddine emphasized the need for international support to enhance the healthcare system in Lebanon. He outlined various issues plaguing the sector, including shortages of medical supplies and the impact of the economic downturn on healthcare services.

According to LBC, the discussions also highlighted the importance of collaboration between Lebanon and the WHO to address these pressing health concerns.
