The community is warmly invited to attend a special Memorial Mass in remembrance of the martyrs of the Ehden Massacre, one of the most tragic and painful events in Lebanon’s modern history, which took place on 13 June 1978.
The Mass will honour the memory of all those who lost their lives during the massacre, including Member of Parliament Tony Sleiman Frangieh, his wife Vera Frangieh, and their young daughter Jihan.
The commemorative service will be held on Sunday, 14 June 2026 at 4:00pm at St Raymond’s Church, located at 37–39 Wellington Road, Auburn NSW 2144.
This solemn gathering will bring together members of the community in prayer, reflection, and remembrance, paying tribute to the martyrs and reaffirming the values of faith, unity, peace, and resilience.
Organisers encourage all members of the community to attend and stand together in honouring the memory of those who were lost. The event serves not only as a remembrance of the past, but also as a moment of solidarity and hope for future generations.
“Never forgotten. Forever in our hearts.”
Everyone is welcome, and your presence would be greatly appreciated.
