The greatest threat to the Lebanese nation—both its people and its land—comes from the rain of bombs and toxic missiles, alongside the increasing chemical pollutants in the air. These substances are capable of killing living beings, destroying infrastructure, and decimating both flora and fauna. They show no mercy to any creature. The evidence of their true nature and astonishing effects lies in the documents hidden behind the scenes, which reveal the rising and widespread chemical residues throughout Lebanon and its neighboring countries. This will inevitably lead to the emergence of numerous new viruses, chronic diseases, and respiratory issues among humans—ailments for which there are currently no cures or treatments. The impact on the air, water, livestock, soil, trees, and crops is unprecedented, leading to severe health complications for humanity. These new, countless debilitating diseases will adversely affect bone growth and significantly weaken blood circulation. The immediate and largest threats will be to the lungs, heart, head, throat, stomach, reproductive health, and overall bodily function, hindering individuals from fulfilling their practical and health-related duties.

Every Arab and regional country must comprehend the dangers of warfare and the widespread use of chemical weapons in the region. The extremely hazardous chemicals utilized in these deadly arms have already shown their devastating results from the foolish and ongoing wars in the area, whether large or small. It is likely that these toxic gases are behind every chronic illness that lacks a remedy, due to the high concentration of airborne chemical toxins in the skies over the Arab homeland, particularly Lebanon. We will witness the negative repercussions of this pollution manifesting later on the people in cities and villages across Lebanon and the Arab world, with a shocking and unprecedented daily increase in the number of patients without accountability or deterrence against these destructive and reckless wars.

While the conflict in Lebanon may seem to target a specific group, this does not reflect the full extent of the tragedy and losses—both material and human—suffered by the country. No one can escape the hazardous remnants of war, regardless of their involvement in the fighting. The looming health dangers affect everyone without exception, and it’s critical to understand the scale of pollution, mortality, and losses that will emerge in the near future, as well as their implications for every household and family, and for Lebanese society as a whole. A viable solution to this problem and tragedy would be to ensure the availability of affordable air purification devices in Lebanon, the Arab world, and everywhere. It is imperative to purchase and operate modern equipment to filter out microscopic particles invisible to the naked eye, along with harmful chemical residues in the air, and to implement these solutions in every home without delay.

If you work outside your home, you must take precautions for yourself and your family against the alarming environmental pollution. I advise you to use protective masks that filter dust and purify the air from foreign and toxic substances when you are outside. I extend my sincere gratitude to everyone who reads this humble and heartfelt message.
