Biles described the incident as one of the scariest experiences of her life, made more daunting by her husband, NFL player Jonathan Owens, being away for training camp with the Indianapolis Colts. “I’ve been in bed resting this week,” she noted, adding that she would provide more details in the future. She also thanked her close circle for their support during this challenging time.

The seven-time Olympic champion has previously discussed the physical toll that elite sports have taken on her body. In a past interview, she recounted a time at the 2024 Olympics when she collapsed after returning to the Olympic village, emphasizing the stress and demands of her athletic career.
