Arabic version: ترامب يعلن أن اتفاق إيران قد تم الانتهاء منه، ومضيق هرمز سيعاد فتحه
US President Donald Trump has said the agreement with Iran is ‘all signed’, adding that the Strait of Hormuz will be ‘completely open’ by Friday. Trump was speaking alongside French President Emmanuel Macron ahead of the G7 meeting in France.
According to Al Jazeera, Trump also stated that the Strait of Hormuz will be ‘completely open’ by Friday. This statement suggests a shift in the geopolitical landscape, particularly concerning maritime trade routes critical to global oil supplies.
The announcement comes at a time when relations between the US and Iran have been fraught with challenges. The agreement aims to address longstanding issues and promote stability in the region, although reactions from various stakeholders, including Israeli ministers, have been mixed.
As the G7 meeting approaches, the implications of this deal will likely be a focal point of discussions among world leaders, emphasizing the need for collaborative efforts in promoting peace.
