Israeli attacks in the Gaza Strip have resulted in the deaths of at least four Palestinians, including a 13-year-old girl, with several others wounded. The assaults are part of a broader military operation that has also seen expanded raids across the occupied West Bank.

According to Al Jazeera, the violence escalated on June 27, when an Israeli drone strike in the al-Salatin area near Beit Lahiya killed at least two individuals and injured at least one more. In southern Gaza, an Israeli missile targeted a tent sheltering displaced Palestinians in Khan Younis, leading to multiple injuries and the death of one unidentified man.

The Health Ministry in Gaza reported that the ongoing conflict has claimed at least 73,054 Palestinian lives and left 173,480 injured since October 7, 2023. Hospitals in the region received three bodies and treated 43 wounded individuals over the past 24 hours.

In addition to the strikes in Gaza, Israeli forces have intensified ground activities and air strikes, particularly targeting makeshift tents in areas designated as safe zones. Reports indicate that Israeli settlers have also stormed the Al-Aqsa Mosque in East Jerusalem, with heavy police protection, while restrictions on Palestinian worshippers continue.

Israeli authorities have faced criticism for their treatment of Palestinian detainees, with reports of harsh conditions in prisons and restrictions on medical personnel. The Palestinian NGO Network is calling for international intervention to secure the release of detained medical workers and address the situation of Palestinian women in detention facilities.
