A man in his 30s has been charged with indecent assault involving two female students at an Adelaide Hills school. The accused, whose identity is suppressed by a court order, appeared in Mount Barker Magistrates Court on Thursday, facing two counts of indecent assault between April 2025 and May 2026.

According to ABC News, court documents indicate that the assaults took place on separate occasions. One victim was reportedly assaulted between April 1 and July 10, 2025, while the other girl was allegedly indecently assaulted in April 2026.

Police were first alerted to the situation on April 27 when they received reports of an assault involving a contractor at the school. Solicitor Kevin Raison, representing the accused, noted during the court session that he had recently received documentation indicating a second alleged victim. He requested a suppression order, citing potential issues with identification.

Magistrate Kathryn Hodder granted the suppression order, stating that it would be reviewed at the next court appearance. The accused is scheduled to return to the Adelaide Magistrates Court in November for further proceedings.
