Arabic version: إيران تسعى لإنهاء الجمود مع الولايات المتحدة
According to Al Jazeera, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian said he hopes talks with Oman can bring an end to what he described as a “neither war nor peace” state in relations between Iran and the United States.
The comments come as Iran seeks a way out of the stalemate with Washington. Pezeshkian linked his hopes to talks involving Oman.
Tehran has also listed demands for reopening the Strait of Hormuz. Those demands include lifting US sanctions and compensation for war damages, Al Jazeera reported.
