According to Al Jazeera, a boat carrying 12 volunteers has left Bristol in the United Kingdom as part of a wider campaign seeking to break Israel’s blockade and deliver aid to Gaza.

The departure is part of a flotilla effort focused on reaching Gaza with assistance. The campaign aims to challenge the blockade imposed by Israel.

Al Jazeera reported that Israel has attacked every flotilla attempting to help Gaza since 2010. Volunteers who took part in previous missions have said they were abused by Israeli forces.
