According to BBC News, Kelsey Parker has welcomed a baby after announcing a “devastating” stillbirth last year. A post on her Instagram account on Sunday showed a newborn baby’s arm beside a pink sign reading “River”.

“Welcome to the world, River. Our little bit of hope,” the post’s caption said. Parker, a podcaster and author, is in a relationship with Will Lindsay.

Parker, 35, had previously revealed the loss of her baby Phoenix in June last year, describing it as “earth-shattering news”. Her latest pregnancy had been announced in May, when she referred to the baby as a “little rainbow baby”.

Rochelle Humes, Susanna Reid and Holly Hagan-Blyth were among those congratulating Parker on social media. Humes wrote: “Congratulations angel,” while Reid said: “Oh my goodness – this is so wonderful – welcome River.”

Parker was married to The Wanted singer Tom Parker, who died in 2022 aged 33 after being diagnosed with terminal brain cancer. The couple, who married in 2018, had two children, daughter Aurelia Rose and son Bodhi. In 2023, Kelsey Parker published With And Without You, about the first year after his death.
