According to ABC News, prosecutors have withdrawn a child sexual abuse charge against Adelaide child protection worker Hannah Joyce Neale during her trial in South Australia’s District Court.

Ms Neale, 31, appeared in court on Friday after the prosecution withdrew the charge of sexual abuse of a child. She is no longer facing any criminal charges.

The prosecution had alleged during the trial that Ms Neale had a “sexual and romantic relationship” with a 16-year-old boy for almost two years.

The trial also heard that Ms Neale had previously worked at a supported accommodation facility in suburban Adelaide.
