Parramatta businesses will have an easier way to access expert business support and Council services with a new Business Concierge service trial launching at PHIVE this Friday.
Available every Friday for six months, the service brings together City of Parramatta Council representatives and a Service NSW Business Concierge in one location, providing face-to-face support and advice for local businesses.
The trial creates a one-stop shop to help businesses navigate Council services, connect with specialist teams and access free, independent business advice.
City of Parramatta Lord Mayor Cr Cameron MacLean said the trial was about making it easier for businesses to access the support they need.
“Small businesses are the backbone of our local economy and we want to make it as easy as possible for them to connect with Council and find the right support,” Cr Zaiter said.
“This trial will create a clear and accessible pathway for businesses, reducing the time and effort spent navigating different services and processes.
“By bringing Council representatives and a Service NSW Business Concierge together in one location, we’re creating a more connected and responsive experience for local businesses and making it easier to access the support they need to grow and succeed.”
Operating from Parramatta Library in PHIVE, businesses will be able to speak directly with Council representatives and a Service NSW Business Concierge. The service will offer support with business enquiries, Council processes, referrals to specialist teams, and access to free, independent business advice through the new Small Business Advisory program delivered by the Service NSW Business Bureau.
The trial supports Council’s Customer Experience Transformation Plan and City Economy Strategy and will help inform future initiatives such as a dedicated Small Business Hub and Business and Investment Team.
Walk-ins are welcome at the Ideas Lounge, Level 1 Parramatta Library at PHIVE on Fridays.
