According to ABC News, Nic Maddinson and Sam Harper have been called into Australia’s men’s Test squad for the series against South Africa.

Maddinson is close to a notable return to the Test side, nearly a decade after he last played. His call-up follows an abdominal strain that has left Cameron Green in doubt for the series opener.

Australia will also be without full certainty over Josh Inglis, who has a fractured finger. The first of three Test matches against South Africa is scheduled to begin in Durban on October 9.
