According to ABC News, a 19-year-old man has been arrested after police alleged he rammed a rideshare vehicle several times at Greenwith in Adelaide’s north. Police were called to the roundabout at Lake Gairdner Parade and Rifle Range Road about 2:15am on Monday.

Police alleged the driver of a Ford Territory left the scene before being found a short distance away outside his home. The 31-year-old rideshare driver and his 25-year-old passenger suffered minor injuries and did not require medical treatment, police said. Both vehicles sustained significant damage and were towed away.

The man allegedly refused a breath test before later recording a blood-alcohol reading of 0.116, police said. He was charged with drink driving, driving disqualified, failing to comply with direction and two counts of endangering life. He was bailed to appear in Elizabeth Magistrates Court on November 27. Police urged witnesses or people with CCTV or dashcam footage to contact Crime Stoppers.

Elsewhere, a serious crash at Castambul, north-east of Adelaide, led to the closure of Gorge Road at Corkscrew Road after police were called just after midday on Monday. Drivers were urged to avoid the area. On Sunday night, a 53-year-old Angle Vale man died after a sedan and SUV collided at the intersection of Penfield and King roads at Virginia. The crash was being examined by major crash investigators.
