According to Al Jazeera, Syrians released from Israeli detention have described alleged abuse including sleep deprivation, violent searches and dog attacks.

Some of the freed detainees recounted the torture they said they suffered behind bars in an Israeli detention centre.

Al Jazeera’s Heidi Pett met with some of those released Syrians and reported their accounts.

Dozens of other Syrians remain detained, according to the report.
