According to BBC News, Harry Kane received England’s highest rating after scoring twice in a 3-0 Nations League win over the Czech Republic at Wembley on Tuesday. The captain was awarded 8 out of 10 on his 125th England appearance.
Kane’s appearance drew him level with Peter Shilton as England’s joint-highest appearance-maker. BBC Sport described it as a historic night for the striker, whose two goals came in a comfortable victory.
Trent Alexander-Arnold, Lewis Hall, Myles Lewis-Skelly, Jude Bellingham and Morgan Rogers were each rated 7. Alexander-Arnold took another chance to impress, while Hall completed what was described as a successful international period. Bellingham did not match his display in Croatia but continued to show class in possession.
Jordan Pickford, Jarell Quansah, Marc Guehi, Elliot Anderson and Eberechi Eze were rated 6. Anderson supplied the pass that unlocked the Czech Republic for England’s second goal, while Quansah looked comfortable in his favoured centre-back role.
All five England substitutes used were also given 6: James Garner, Jarrad Branthwaite, Morgan Gibbs-White, Rio Ngumoha and Dominic Calvert-Lewin. BBC Sport’s player-rating feature allows signed-in users to rate players out of 10, with the rater closing 30 minutes after the final whistle.
