According to BBC News, Bruno Guimaraes was rated Arsenal’s leading performer after coming off the bench to score the winner in a 2-1 comeback victory over Leeds United at Emirates Stadium.

Leeds took the lead through James Justin, whose well-worked opener was assisted by Gabriel Gudmundsson. Arsenal responded through Riccardo Calafiori before Guimaraes, introduced in the 63rd minute, scored the decisive goal. Declan Rice provided the assist for the winner.

BBC Sport gave Guimaraes an 8, the highest rating among the players, describing his introduction as one that changed the game. Calafiori and Rice each received 7, while Jurrien Timber also earned a 7 after replacing Ben White in the 63rd minute.

For Leeds, Justin, Gudmundsson, Ao Tanaka and Tarik Muharemovic were awarded 7. Justin also received Leeds’ highest average user rating, 7.01, while Guimaraes was selected as player of the match with an average rating of 7.37.

Arsenal goalkeeper David Raya was rated 6 after making saves from Jayden Bogle and Gudmundsson, although the cross for Leeds’ goal evaded him. Leeds goalkeeper James Trafford also received a 6 and was noted for his passing range, but was judged likely to be disappointed with the Arsenal equaliser.
