Arabic version: فيلم وثائقي من غزة يتابع صحفية خلال الإجلاء
According to Al Jazeera, the documentary Gaza: Still Reporting follows journalist Maram Humaid as Israel orders the total clearance of Gaza City for the first time during the war. Humaid documents the forcible displacement while experiencing it with her own family.
The film portrays Humaid spending her days reporting, writing and listening to Palestinians’ stories during Israel’s war on Gaza. As evacuation orders reshape life in the city, she continues her work while moving with her family through an area being evacuated.
Humaid’s experience includes navigating motherhood, food scarcity and the deaths of colleagues, Al Jazeera said. The documentary also focuses on the risks she faces in continuing to document the war.
During the evacuation, Humaid meets Palestinians who have chosen to leave Gaza City and others who have decided to stay. The film presents those decisions as painful for people leaving and impossible for those remaining.
Gaza: Still Reporting was directed by Mohammed Sawwaf, Salah Al-Haw and Ibrahim Al-Otla. Al Jazeera published the documentary on October 12, 2026.
