Students at three local public schools across the Leppington electorate are returning to new and upgraded facilities for Term 4, as Year 12 students across the state begin their HSC exams today.

Austral Public School, Greenway Park Public School and Leppington Public School are opening new and upgraded facilities as part of the Minns Labor Government’s record investment in public school infrastructure.

The upgrades will provide improved learning spaces for local students and teachers, helping meet the needs of growing communities across the Leppington electorate.

Meanwhile, local Year 12 students will begin their HSC written exams today with English Paper 1.

The exam period will run until Thursday 5 November, with students receiving their results on Wednesday 16 December.

Member for Leppington Nathan Hagarty MP said:

“Our community is growing rapidly, and it’s important our local schools have the facilities they need to keep up.

“It’s great to see students at Austral, Greenway Park and Leppington Public Schools returning to new and upgraded facilities for Term 4.

“I also want to wish all our local Year 12 students the very best as they begin their HSC exams. You’ve worked hard to get here, and you should be proud of what you’ve achieved.”
