According to Allafrica, Morocco and Zambia will seek to extend their winning starts when Group A resumes at the TotalEnergies CAF Futsal Africa Cup of Nations Morocco 2026 on Wednesday. Algeria and Libya, both beaten in their opening matches, will be looking to revive their prospects of reaching the semi-finals.

Libya, the bronze medallists at the 2024 edition, enter their match against Algeria after a 3-1 loss to Zambia. The Mediterranean Knights need a victory to restore their campaign and keep their hopes of advancing alive.

Algeria are also under pressure following a 4-0 defeat to defending champions Morocco in their first match. The Fennecs are making their tournament debut and will aim to collect their first points as they seek to remain in contention for a place in the last four.

Morocco and Zambia meet after both opened with victories. Morocco began their title defence with a 4-0 win over Algeria on Monday and will look to carry that momentum forward at the Moulay Abdellah Sports Hall in Rabat, backed by the home crowd. Zambia announced their intentions with their 3-1 victory over Libya. Coached by Italy’s Andrea Cristoforetti, Chipolopolo now face a tougher test as they try to challenge the hosts for top place in Group A.
