According to ABC News, online influencer Braden Peters, known as Clavicular, has pleaded not guilty to charges alleging he raped a 17-year-old girl at his family’s Massachusetts home. Peters, 20, is accused of giving the girl alcohol until she was drunk and then sexually assaulting her during a visit to Chatham on Cape Cod in May 2025.

Peters has denied the allegations through his lawyers, who said the sexual encounter was consensual. The woman told police that Peters gave her two or three shots of vodka and that she woke the following morning to find he was raping her. She also described the alleged assault in a lawsuit filed in Florida in April, which Peters’ attorneys called a “publicity grab”.

At a brief arraignment in Orleans, Massachusetts, Peters wore a dark suit and walked a barking dog on a leash as he entered the courthouse. He spoke only to the dog, ignored reporters’ questions and did not comment when leaving with his lawyers.

He agreed to US$10,000 bail, surrendered his passport and was ordered not to contact or post about the woman who accused him of assault. Peters has one million Instagram followers and is known for live streams focused on appearance, including discussions of surgery and drug use. Earlier this year, a Florida misdemeanour battery charge was dropped. In a separate Florida case, he was sentenced to probation after pleading no contest to firing a gun in public.
