According to Cnbc, UnitedHealth, Meta Platforms and Marvell Technology are favored by selected Wall Street analysts for their long-term growth potential. The recommendations come as fears around artificial intelligence trading and pressure from higher oil prices weigh on global markets.
UnitedHealth reported better-than-expected third-quarter 2026 results and raised its full-year earnings outlook as its turnaround plan progressed. Morgan Stanley analyst Erin Wright reiterated a buy rating and a $529 price target. Wright said stronger-than-expected results at UnitedHealthcare and Optum Health supported an increase in 2026 adjusted earnings-per-share guidance to at least $20.50. She raised her 2026 EPS estimate to $20.65 and her 2027 estimate to $23.24.
Meta is set to report third-quarter results on Oct. 21, with investors looking for updates on its AI strategy. Guggenheim analyst Michael Morris maintained a buy rating and lifted his price target to $850 from $700. Citing Apptopia, Morris said Meta’s Muse AI agent reached 1.3 million daily active users within five weeks, compared with 300,000 in its first week. He expects the company to focus on increasing usage before near-term monetization.
Marvell Technology raised its total addressable market estimate to $400 billion by 2030 at its Investor Day, citing AI-led demand tailwinds. Stifel analyst Tore Svanberg reiterated a buy rating with a $370 price target after meeting with senior management. Marvell increased its FY29 Custom revenue target to more than $12 billion from more than $10 billion, largely because of strength in its XPU Attach business. Management also said suppliers had committed to support its five-year goals.
