On Friday, 19th July 2024, the Casula Power House in Casula hosted a remarkable cultural and artistic festival organised by Sawaki Group. The event, titled “Love and Peace” in Arabic, was a resounding success, attracting art and poetry enthusiasts from across the region including a host of dignitaries such as Clr. Fiona McNaught of Liverpool City Council representing Mayor Ned Mannoun, Clr. Rachelle Harika of Canterbury Bankstown representing Mayor Bilal El Hayek, and a wide array of community leaders and religious representatives.
The festival featured a theatrical performance by the renowned poet Abdulrazak Abdulwahid.
