A growing number of countries have advised their citizens to leave Iran due to escalating tensions and the threat of potential military strikes by the United States. These warnings come as diplomatic efforts continue to address concerns surrounding Iran’s nuclear program and the increased US military presence in the region.

According to Al Jazeera, Australia, Germany, India, Poland, Serbia, South Korea, and Sweden have all issued advisories urging their citizens to evacuate Iran. The Australian government specifically recommended that its citizens leave “as soon as possible” due to the risk of military conflict.

Germany’s embassy highlighted the extremely volatile security situation and warned that further military clashes could occur. Similarly, Poland’s Prime Minister Donald Tusk expressed concern over the possibility of conflict and urged Poles in Iran to leave immediately.

In addition to these advisories, the US State Department has begun withdrawing non-essential personnel from its embassy in Beirut, Lebanon. This move is part of a broader strategy to ensure the safety of American citizens and personnel in the region as tensions rise between Washington and Tehran.

Iran’s Foreign Minister, Abbas Araghchi, stated that a diplomatic resolution to the conflict is still within reach, although Iran maintains its position on nuclear enrichment and missile programs. Meanwhile, the US continues to bolster its military presence in the Middle East, further heightening the regional tensions.
