The Egyptian naval supply vessel ‘Abu Simbel-2’ arrived at Port Sudan in Sudan on Sunday, carrying more than 200 tons of humanitarian aid, including food, medical supplies, and medicines provided by the Egyptian Armed Forces, the Ministry of Social Solidarity, the Ministry of Health and Population, and the Red Crescent Society.

This aid is intended to be delivered to the most needy areas in the sisterly country of Sudan, where the northern state is suffering from the effects of floods.

This comes in implementation of the directives of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi to provide all forms of support to our Sudanese brothers, and based on Egypt’s active role towards its brothers, providing support and solidarity to them in various hardships and crises.
