Iran has officially rejected a ceasefire proposal put forth by the United States, as reported by various media outlets. According to BBC News, an anonymous Iranian official stated on state television that Tehran would “end the war when it decides to do so”.

The rejection of the 15-point peace plan has provoked a strong response from former President Donald Trump, who has threatened to “unleash hell” on Iran. Reports indicate that Iran’s dismissal of the ceasefire has been met with “threats of its own”, including warnings against any U.S. troop landings on Kharg Island.

In related news, the Royal Navy is reportedly facing challenges in meeting NATO commitments due to a lack of available warships, as noted by the i Paper. The British forces have had to borrow a warship from Germany to command a military task force in the Atlantic and Baltic regions.

Additionally, the Financial Times has revealed that Russia is sending drones, medicine, and food supplies to Iran. These shipments are anticipated to arrive this month and are seen as a significant step in Moscow’s willingness to provide lethal support to Tehran since the outbreak of war.
