Deadline for Corrections

Any citizen who identifies an issue—such as an error in their name, missing details, or incorrect inclusion or deletion—must submit a correction request no later than 20 February 2026.

How to Submit a Correction

The correction process involves two key steps:

  1. Complete the relevant correction form
Citizens must download and complete the appropriate form based on the type of correction required. These forms are available through the electoral lists link above and are specifically designed for Lebanese citizens residing outside Lebanon.
  2. Submit the application to the relevant Lebanese mission
Completed forms must be submitted via email to the Lebanese mission responsible for the applicant’s place of residence, along with all required supporting documents:

For Lebanese Citizens in Lebanon

Lebanese expatriates who happen to be residing in Lebanon during the correction period may submit their applications directly to the relevant registration committee, following the same procedures applicable to residents within Lebanon.

A Vital Civic Responsibility

Lebanese diplomatic missions in Australia emphasise that reviewing and correcting electoral information is a crucial civic responsibility. Accurate electoral lists are essential to safeguarding the democratic process and ensuring that every eligible citizen can exercise their right to vote in the 2026 Lebanese elections.

Citizens are encouraged not to delay and to complete their checks well before the deadline to avoid any last-minute issues.
