According to Al Jazeera,

Sexual violence has emerged as a systematic tool of intimidation against Palestinians in the occupied West Bank, according to a recent report by the West Bank Protection Consortium. The report details various forms of sexual violence and harassment, revealing that these acts are not isolated incidents but rather part of a broader strategy to pressure Palestinians into leaving their homes.

One harrowing account comes from Qusay Abu al-Kabash, who was violently assaulted by a group of settlers in March. He described how more than 70 settlers attacked his community, inflicting severe physical and psychological harm. The settlers not only beat him but also subjected him to humiliating sexual violence, which he stated had lasting psychological effects.

The report highlights that more than 70 percent of the displaced families interviewed cited threats of sexual violence against women and children as a critical factor in their decision to leave their homes. This alarming trend underscores the pervasive nature of sexual violence as a tactic in the ongoing conflict.

Additionally, incidents of forced nudity and invasive searches have been reported, particularly in areas like the Jenin refugee camp. Abeer al-Sabbagh recounted her experience of being strip-searched by Israeli soldiers, expressing feelings of humiliation and distress.

Human rights organizations have documented numerous cases of sexual violence and harassment, particularly in the Old City of Hebron. Activists claim that these tactics are used to retaliate against Palestinians and to maintain control over contested areas. While Israeli officials argue that such incidents are isolated, the testimonies and reports suggest a troubling pattern of abuse.

The ongoing violence has significantly impacted the daily lives of Palestinians, with many women avoiding public spaces and schools to escape potential harassment. The situation remains dire, with calls for increased attention and accountability regarding these human rights violations.
