Arabic version: اعتقال مراهق ثالث في قضية قتل طعن في ملبورن
A third teenager has been charged with murdering 15-year-old Darweish Mohamed, who was found with stab wounds outside a hospital in Melbourne’s northern suburbs on Wednesday night. According to ABC News, a 14-year-old boy was arrested last night and charged with his murder. He will face a children’s court.
Darweish was discovered in the car park of Craigieburn Community Hospital, where a staff member attempted CPR. Unfortunately, he died at the scene. His family and friends will remember him at a memorial today, while tributes for him have continued to grow outside the hospital.
Flowers have been left by mourners near the site of the alleged stabbing, reflecting the community’s grief. A fundraiser for the slain teenager’s family has raised more than $60,000 as they navigate this tragic loss.
Two other teenage boys, aged 15 and 16, were charged with Darweish’s murder yesterday. They remain in custody and will return to court for a committal hearing in November. Additionally, a 20-year-old man has been charged in relation to Darweish’s death with fire damage, while a 15-year-old girl is facing charges of motor vehicle theft and affray.
